Initiation

Without the grace and compassion of a Realized teacher, it is very difficult to give up the sense pleasures, it is not possible to see the Truth and it is impossible to attain the state of natural Samadhi, or superconsciousness. (Of the millions and millions of seekers around the globe, only a handful have ever achieved enlightenment without the aid of a realized teacher. In fact, all but one or two of the teachers known to us in these past 20-30 years have come to their realization through a realized teacher). The supreme state of absolute unity with the path of Yoga by the grace of a Realized teacher.

The path of Bliss Divine is very difficult to achieve, but it can be won through the path of Yoga. The way is through the realized teacher at the time of Initiation. By initiation the teacher destroys our self-destructive tendencies and through grace raises us up to the highest levels of awareness. When the student takes initiation, the teacher's own highly refined energy (Shakti) enters into the student's energy field, resides there and draws the consciousness to it during the practice of Yoga and meditation. As the student does Sadhana, either Yoga practices or meditation, and repeats the mantra given, the power of the mantra becomes active within, creating spontaneous movements such as Yoga Asanas, Pranayamas, Mudras and Bhandas. These activities lead the student to experience a kind of ecstasy, lightness of the body and internal joy.

The Realized teacher elevates students to a high degree, shows them their own true nature of the Divine, merges them with Divine Bliss and makes them Divine Bliss. This teacher has the ability to transform students completely to give them new life in which there is no old age, no sorrow, and no misery.

All that's required of the student is to love all sentient beings, love your Yoga practice and love and respect your Realized teacher. Our own Dr. V. S. Rao is such a Realized Teacher and will initiate interested students.
